Weighing down front of model

Does anyone know how to weigh down the front of a 1/72 Me 262 even though the model has been put together and painted? Thanks

Probably no recess in through th cockpit is there? Perhaps drilling a hole in the inside of the front undercarriage stow area, and dropping some weight through the hole, holding the plane nose down and spraying a little expanding foam in to hold the weight in place, then filling and carefully touching up the hole


Other than im outta ideas, anyone else?

That's a great idea! there is a space behind the control panel bit in the cockpit and all the way to the front, so I think I'll open the part in the middle where it's been glued, and I'll put a weight or two in there Thanks for that Dave

I use Deluxe Materials Liquid Gravity to weigh down the nose of aircraft (before I button them up!), you may find it easier to retro fit in your situation.

I've heard somebody talking about using liquid gravity before, maybe it was you. I can't remember. Sorry but what does retro fit mean?

Hi all, I tried using 4 or 5 small strips of a 4mm diameter brass rod to weigh down the nose, so it's now sorted Thank you everyone for your help
