Stefees Italieri 1/24 Porsche 944S

Hi all,
Will be starting this soon. I know this vehicle intimately as it was the first car I bought for myself when I returned to the UK in 2000, wish I still had it. One of the attached photos has images of my car.
Bought AM resin AM "cookie cutter" alloys to match my car and tyre valves. The terribly chromed "telephone dial" rims may go on a modded VW Beetle at some stage. Will be cutting out the bonnet to show off the engine.
Hope it goes together better than Italieri's Range Rover that I built earlier.

Whilst eradicating mould lines, flash etc on the body I noticed there was provision in the clear parts for a sunroof which my car had. This took the form of being completely removable and stoed in a bag in the boot - will try to replicate that later.
So 60 nerve racking minutes later I have this.

Nice spot.
Would love to have another one but at my age getting in and out would be challenging- I need nourishment not punishment! Have enough drama getting in and out of my Kia Stinger.

Just finished painting the bodywork, some minor dirt inclusions to polish out after 10 days to fully cure.

Undercarriage nearly completed and the basic engine dry fitted, lots of detail painting to be done.
Tried printing my own decals for the seat inserts, not perfect but acceptable and subtle.

Some progress. Undercarriage completed and black around window frames done. Was not happy with my attempted striped seat decals so experimented with masking and painting and am much happier.

Engine bay done, no extras here just the kit parts plus some generic decals.
The milk chocolate and caramel ripple interior eventually masked and painted. Still lots of fettling to do and satin clearcoat. Will be flocking the carpeted areas and adding seat belts but they are both Fathers Day presents and I am not allowed them under any circumstances - brought the kids up too well by the look of things.
