Well after a trip to Halfords and a toss up between British Racing Green and Graphite Grey I came away with BRG a trusty old faithful classic and it being a Jaguar thought it would suit have to say at £6.50 a can it better turn out well as I could now kick myself for walking past all those cans at the car boot in the summer at 50p ago more later......... Both look awesome but I prefer the blue

Yep, ditch the paints for painting with and just use for highlighting etc. Should turn out rather nice me thinks John.

High everyone managed to get the BRG on don't worry Roy about the confusion it's nice to have a comparison and a standard to aim for I was going to give this spray job a full 24hrs before I get my grubby paws on it but should I apply lacquer before I handle it. Thanks for looking/advice and comments cheers John

If you want a mega-gloss, use 2K.

You'll have to wait about 2 weeks before you touch it though.

Looks lovely so far - almost the identical colour to my XF.
