Superb Job you are doing on it as well ......... I have an Countach LP500 Quotroportovale (or something spelled like that in Italian) that I started 5 years ago and boxed ....... I must get it out and finish it one day.

thank you peter and dave. car and the aoshima kit are very good. but you need to be careful with aoshima kits. revell's glue cant fix it. i use tamiya green cap thin cement. i used airbrush for all parts of engine. i am still working on inside of the car but i must admit that it wont be as good as engine build it has very small curvy parts. it was frustrating to mask it and some parts damage because of the gunze's liquid masking solution. i tried to fix it but not ended perfectly

Your comment about being slow with kit building. It's taken some people on here years to complete their kits; I wouldn't worry about how long it's taking you as long as you are having fun and enjoying the build. And the more time you take the better the end result.

thank you Marc and John. i hope i will finish it soon. i have been working on body shell of the car and made some progress. i made a mix colour for body. it is shiny and changes the color when you turn the car. theese are the steps of the painting process

                          1st: Tamiya Sprey Primer

2nd: First layer of glossy black + sanding

3rd: Second layer of glossy black + masking

                          4th: Final paint

paint mix is %12,5 Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue - %12,5 Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver - %25 Tamiya X-22 Clear - %50 Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner, putting clear into paint mix insrases shining of the paint also gives holomatic effect. when you turn the part you can see colour changes from blue to chrome silver. glossy black coat also incrases shining of chrome paint. there are still a lot of work i should do. there are some spoty need to be fixed on black paint. cuz masking tape remove paint on some of the corners. than there will be 2 or 3 coat of gloss varnish.

                          have a nice day
