1/8 Lotus 72D - 1972 British GP Pocher

This arrived last week but I was on holiday, got back today and opened the box, full of metal and plastic, 477 to be precise with a retail of £789 that works out at £1.65 per piece.

I‘m only at home this week then off again for another 5 weeks, but I’m going to make a start on it.

That's some kit John. I've heard of these Pocher kits and seen photos of completed builds but never seen one being built. Should be fun.

A little bit more done, I could do with an extra pair of hands, some of the screws are a bit fiddly.

The good old 'John Player Special', I used to love that race car back in my younger days... I also seem to remember having a transistor radio in the shape of it and thinking the world could get no better..

I’m struggling with the screws for this, they either don‘t fit flush or I just can’t tighten them up, some of the hole alignment is off which is pretty bad for such an expensive kit, anyway not done much today, it’s been a busy day.
