    TAMIYA 14011 CR250R with rider

An old kit I picked up a while back from flea bay, sadly missing a fork, all ready started with some assembled parts and painted.
But looks to be all there (like me) oh apart from the missing fork but i have a cunning plan for this,
kit pics below rider i have had a while its all there ( like me), so i will strip the paint over the next few days and dismantle as much as will come a part and re build, the missing for is identical to the one i have so i will make a 2 piece mould and pour a new one from resin, thats the plan anyway i will keep you up dated as i go

Stripped off the old paint and chrome plating, been trialling the mould for the new fork with some success and some not so successful. Assembled rider

sadly my best friend passed away this week, so It might be a week or 2 before i post more up dates

Almost there with the bike, rider is really quite a challenge just trying to get him to stand properly but ill get there painting will be the next goal…
despite the challenge's of the old kit and the missing parts I think she looks okay so far any way not dipped any decals as yet and i still need to fill the number plates

Hi been awhile but a busy man i am… so we were hit by the storm no damage but the internets been off for a month funny after a day or to we started speaking…
joking aside never really missed it but did find a lot of time so i got on with painting the rider and also started Tamiya cr400 very old kit no18 or now known as 14018.
this is a very similar kit to the 250 apart from the engine which is air cooled and the kit comes with a rider as well so i have build these sorry no pictures but here is the finished bikes and riders theres more to come before i call it complete im sure you’ll guess
thanks for looking appreciate it Click image for larger version
