Cheers Phil I'm glad you like itOriginally posted by \Just been catching up with this one Alan, the jeeps look nice mate and the figures don't look to big in my mind, it was quite a snug vehicle really. Did you brush paint these Alan? What's your process?
Cheers
Phil
Yes it's brush painted , my proccess is a simple one , paint the base coat , oil wash dry brush again in base coat if needed then dry brush in a dark grey along edges to give the impression of ware and tear then use an using a thin brush and put a small amount of oil paint on and dry brush that into corners and around detail and fade it out with a clean dry brush, then a couple of coats of matt clear varnish and it's done
It sounds like a lot of work but once you get the hang of it which isn't long you'll fly through it , just one thing when you add the oil paint make sure your base coats are completely dry of it can remove your base coats
I've now painted the Jerry cans

The top will have sandbagged mg posts so I haven't done much but dirtied it , rather harsh looking brown will fade as it dried giving it a more dusty look
