I had to rework the donkeys eyes the second time so that he focused on the snake...which I painted as well...

For the shadowed area I will play on the eye having adjusted to compensate so it's not completely in the dark. What I haven't done is the very dark thin line that separates the border of light to dark.
    Challenging? Yes it is.

Can’t wait for that. Sure it will be great πŸ‘. Mind you, a bright halo effect around the edge would be spectacular if you really fancy a challenge πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

    Hi guys,
Spent half a day painting the Bedouin. I had to visualise the sun glow hitting his back and creating a bright haze at the edges before the shadows. So far okay but I will need to bring out the airbrush for the shadowed area on his front skirt to get a smoother flow. In my naked eye it looks okay but the photos show some rough detaing that need to be fixed like darkening under his right arm sleeve.

Need to brighten his right leg 'cos that where it's gonna hurt him and the whole point of the vignette besides the donkey warning his master.

    Cheers,

Sorry Jack, didn't see your message, thank you.

I have to check my imagination once in a while...there are certain things not achievable and can be outrages at times. Most of the time it's luck and perseverance...skill comes in way down the list. I see the stuff at Monson and I'm gobsmacked.

    Cheers,
    Wabble
