Thanks Si much appreciated....... I was a proper struggle. I hated every damn minute of it. I was planning a wash over it when I do the figures.Originally posted by \I think you have done rather well for something as hateful as PE and in that scale. Just do a wash on the bike and it look well used. Great work so far Peter.

Two things to think about with PE and superglue.
If you are having issues getting things to stick, you could be over doing it. Less is more. Also I found that a quick wipe with some IPA will remove any oil transfer from fingers.
A bit late maybe but you know for next time.Comment

Thanks Ian....... on reflection maybe I was a bit "over indulgent" with the superglue. I did use the IPA, as I always do before I glue or paint anything......... My main problem with PE is it's so damn thin and delicate and I always seem to break it with the hammer when I'm fitting itOriginally posted by \Two things to think about with PE and superglue.

Thanks Barry. I've got a lot of weathering and stuff to do on the whole dio once the painting is finished. I thought, the bike might need a little bit of rust and a few scratches.Originally posted by \The bike looks good just rough up the paintwork a bit.Comment

Well,
I've finally finished this project. Tomorrow I'll post up a few photos, when I can get some daylight. The photos I take indoors are always rubbish............. I can't say I'm sorry to see the back of this one.......... and I really don't think I want to go down the dio route again. I was really starting to lose interest in it and it has been a bit of a slog.
A few days break from the bench .........and next up will be this. An easy and relaxing build. Maybe......
