Watertank fixed to base if the building had been intact there would have been heaps of these on the rooftop now one topside and one below tangled and mangled in the rubble below
There will be piping of some sorts as well

Rusty and non rusted areas will be shown randomly

Thanks John
Working on the details - And there are heaps
The restaurant will get the chandelier so i thought a fluorescent tube and fixture would be fitting for the convenience store it will be dangling from the ceiling by its cord.

Traffic sign with suitable wartime weathering

Palestinians living in Syria often make a note of giving a nod to their origin in the decoration of their home and businesses so a scaled down image of the Dome of The Rock goes on the wall of the restaurant

Tiles on the walls of said place are done save one side

Painter did a bodged job on the second floor but to be fair he was working under fire.....

Hi Steven
This is so detailed and realstic that it actually helps understand the situation there. Earlier in the build someone said how hard it was to see that people lived and worked under these terrible conditions.
Your work on this is superb.
Jim

Thanks a lot for the kind words they are truly appreciated.

-bit of work on the building : sand bagging the interior.
Parts of the sb wal has collapsed.
I do not think this part took a direct hit rather collapsed when parts of the walls went down in rooms next door bags will be mixed with rubble and debris.

2nd floor would be my choice. Not as many steps to hump ammo. Less open to airpower & mortars also harder to overrun by infantry. Good fields of fire/observation. PaulE

Parties in the conflict make holes in the walls to ease moving through rooms

Below will not be the most interesting update but: more sb"s- I want these done with so next few posts will be sb-related I will however squeeze in a bit of work on the BMP in during the week so feel free to check that out (separate thread)

Sandbags, you can never do just one:smiling2:. They do get boring after the first 10 or so, but look so good when done. PaulE

Doing a bit of wiring to the ceiling on the small building . As mentioned i will try to make the fluorescent tube hang from the cord but as these are metal wires with a certain rigidity to them the problem will be to obtain a natural look - will bluetack first and see how i looks
