Few testshots moving principal items around - for a long time counter was facing the door but parallel to it now look better to me fluorescent tube bluetacked at this point - does it work bearing in mind that it will be seen through slaps of concrete hanging down?

Added some posters to both outside and inside as it is a middle eastern convenience store , a few magazine ads and the odd movie posters( convenience stores often sell pirated movies) looks a bit like the inside of a garage now but will look better once the counter goes in outside could do with a few more

Veeeery small progress still working on the convenience storr to get that ramshackle looted look had some arab cardboard boxes you can just make them out behind the counter-very authentic and all that but they looked bland so I am working on using some with very recognisable brands instead here in various stages of constructionComment

DIY Rebared concrete:
Pour one layer let set,add rebar (in a grid pattern) glue these to the surface to stop them moving around then pour second layer let set and then comes the fun part: smash it and use the pieces you need.
This method works well for
showing the rebar through holes in the middle of a slab or slabs still connected by the rebar
You can use regular plaster but i would use plaster of paris - a piece of plaster with lenghts of wire running all the way through is surprisingly durable and hard to crackComment
