Steve thank you . No doubt I can improve on the snow, the main problem was I didn't dare turn it over as your advised too to remove the surplus snow because I wasn't sure what would fall off. ! :flushed:.

Cheers Si, had that in mind that it needed to have a direction and it worked. ! :surprised:. Always pleased when something either fits or comes out how you imagined.

Thanks Jim ..... Yes it was great to work with. Glad I went the whole hog and got the kit as even with their sieve it certainly put the snow out quickly . That mesh was 700 mircons and not easily found in hardware shops, everything else you find would have been to big

Thank you for staying with this, one and all. Steve and Rick asked what else was planned, I thought I would continue with the winter theme. This time including ice , so you can probably see where this is going, tank , ice , too heavy , ice breaks , tank goes in ! Oh such fun and not a match to hand .:smiling2::smiling2:.
Already have the box open , hull started. Will post the start tomorrow.
    John .

That's some blizzard heading one direction mate. Effects well done. :thumb2: I would be proud of it myself John if I had got it that way. As Steve said sadly good things come to an end and we look forward to new gooder things...ahem newer challenges. :smiling2: After the R&R what's next?

      Cheers,

Rather overwhelmed with everyones very kind comments. I've found dioramas so interesting showing the story, to be trueful much easier than building the models which at times have taxed me to the limit with haveing the sight thing .
Having a spent some years in the building trade has helped, and of course being able to draw. Having a good imagination really helps !

I have learnt so much on this and the one I call the "other house "

The thing I find about being with a group of like-minded people is it pushes you on, to try things that maybe you wouldn't do
When other people see your work at home they might say that's nice exc , but they don't know the effort or skill that only a fellow modeller can reconise and see .

I've made some real friends on this and the old forum and would just like to say a big thank you

                            John .

John, believe me, watching this diorama and other works of yours in the past come together has been a real pleasure.

                              Thank you.
