You gotta love this scale to want to do that many figs. at one time. I get bleary eyed just looking at them! It's easy to visualize the loss of an armoured vehicle in that type of terrain. Will you muddy it up to show that the sure footed Sturmie got a little too close to the edge or perhaps blown off in an ariel or artillary bombardment? Looks good so far can't wait to see the gardening. Rick H.Comment

Thanks Rick. It's lots more fun if you do all the gear they normally carry. Because these'll be working crew, their stuff will be in their vehicles, so they're pretty boring. I'm going with a final drive failure that put it over the edge cause I don't wanna carve more foam:crying:. PaulEComment

Thanks guys. Another 30 sitting figs painted & in the stash. Trying to get a feel for what I'll need to finish up my WWII German units. Still trying to research maint/recovery units after 43. Can only find 42 kstns (pre fully tracked recovery vehicles). PaulEComment

Finally found a TO&E for the work company that includes Bergepanthers, but it doesn't give crew details, just totals for each vehicle & weapons type, Officers, officials, NCOs & EM. I guess I'll wing it w/7 guys in the FAMOs & 6 in the Bergepanther. The co. includes 8 FAMOs & 2 Bergepanthers, so I'm OK on that score. Here's some pics where I'm trying out some base colors.
The concrete is too dark & ungray, but a little help on the rock & dirt would be welcome.
These are just base colors, but I'd like to get them right before adding dirt, final coat of concrete (taping compound) & greenstuff. PaulEComment
