Hi SWR thanks for your comments. Your right once the foliage and grass is added the whole scene changes and comes to life.

A quick picture of my 4mm scale white metal loco irons and bucket. They need a little clean up before painting and adding to the diorama.

Hi guys progress on my diorama is coming on nicely. The grass has been toned down using weathering powders which I am pleased with the results.
A few more gorse bushes have been added along with a few more detailed items. Timmy the trainspotter is standing by waiting eagerly for a GWR wagon to arrive.
Here are some progress pictures, I hope you like..

                    Great work, Kevin.

The young figure could well have been me bonking off school. I tried it once, thinking I would get away with it. My dad found out and kicked my backside from here to Kingdom Come!

As for the other figure, it has to be Fred Dibnah, the steeplejack.

                    Great little scene.

I like that Ron:smiling4: and thanks for your nice comments. Even though my diorama is small it’s amazing how much detail you can fit in without overdoing it.
