.............. I can`t believe it`s been so long since i posted on this one!!
However,i have been pretty busy with it. I must admit that i underestimated the challenge of tghe Genny cart,i thought it`d be a sinch compared to the Searchlight itself, but i was WRONG!!! :flushed: :fearful:...... (Certainly not the first time.......... and POSITIVELY not the last!!:tears-of-joy
,
ANYWAY,this stage of the build is a bit of a hybrid if i`m honest:flushed:..... i can`t call the Genny an absolute Scratch build for the following reasons:dizzy:!!......
The box section, made from plasticard an various extrusions,ROUGH i know, but will be trimmed......
Yeah,i know it looks awful,but it`s just a base!!
Here`s the Driving chassis(,now here`s where it goes past "Scratching") ......It`s basically the chassis from a 1/35th WW1 Truck that i didn`t complete....
....and i had some Jeep wheels, with Vinyl Tyres, from an unused kit......
:thumb2:
:thumb2:
:thumb2:
There`s the bits married up..... AGAIN..... it`ll be sorted later
So then, there is more to report, but i`ll do that later,
Thanks for looking in guys, more to post soon!!:smiling2:
