That's a lot of progress John. There is usually some work needed to clean up figures after the primer. You've got a lot to deal with as well.
Very interested in you plant preserving process. I appreciate it would be extra hassle for you but it might well be a very useful thread.

Hi Jim, there is indeed some work in the cleaning up, this afternoon I started to do another figure only to find in had a couple of mould lines, now considering I'd taken out the ones that were visible and done them, yet there are still more. To cap it all the head flew off :disappointed: I heard it land somewhere on the bench, but considering the state its in decided to leave it until tomorrow:smiling3:

Evening, after a hot morning on my gardening job spent mainly watering (No hose pipe ban here thank goodness.) and doing paper work for the lady I came home and just sat for a couple of hours. Went in to the cave and started another round of figure painting.
Here are some photos of some work done over the last 3 of days.


Now waiting for the dark blue wash to dry , not shown on this photo.


Priest now has the band that hags down on his left side painted. , this was taken when fully painted black.
Shop front again sanded and repainted.

The floor behind the bar won't be seen , but this shot was taken through the then open back to show the beer tray.

Now why did I think you would notice Madame Fifi !!!! yes a distant relative, runs the little " hotel " around the corner from the flower shop Rick .
