Nice work John but you are going to have to get a shuffle on. January is nearly finished, then February, a short month leading to March - that Rhino will be needing you by then.

I once glued the right arm to a figure on the left side. I thought at the time it took a lot of fettling to get a decent fit. It was straight down and apart from the hand it didn't look bad. Mind the other arm on the wrong side made him look deformed so he ended up in the bin.Comment

You could have just swapped his hands over…..the inside out elbow would have been of no consequenceI once glued the right arm to a figure on the left side. TBH it has happened to me before John, that's why I always spend a considerable amount of time studying the destruction sheet. But then again I don't start on kits right after I buy them...they stew in the stash so I practically know the steps by the time I get to it. Still accidents can happen. :smiling2:

Arh now that looks nice Dave. Think there out in force with the mere mention of tea .
Thanks 570 , appreciated. Gardening tomorrow morning on my part time job, hopefully not too cold again.453. Who hasn't dropped a bo****k at some time or other putting bits of plastic together. Those that say "Me" have never even opened the box.....
Take a step back and have a brew.
Also, I'm sorry to read of your eye problem. A spell away from the bench will help, I'm sure.
Now it's a tad milder out there, perhaps get into the garden at Race Towers for a day or two.
Stay safe.
570
Thanks Tim.
Well that makes feel a lot better Andrea:smiling2:..
Thanks guys, more photos after a meal .
John.
Thanks Colin, sorry don't get the Rhino bit
Not you as well Jim, now that surprises me.I once glued the right arm to a figure on the left side. I thought at the time it took a lot of fettling to get a decent fit. Wabble, that's what I need to do, unfortunately I open the box and just sail away, and runaground !TBH it has happened to me before John, that's why I always spend a considerable amount of time studying the destruction sheet. Right, stand by.
After the abysmal mistakes and having altered them I took the break and then went back to the cave.
I started with the internal parts to the rear.
Then started the sides.
Mean while the gun looking much happier in place.
The rear section had moulding marks, those these have been filled and have by now fully dried, ready for tomorrow. No gardening job as its far too cold .
I've decided to paint the internal part of the model minus those shields, this will give a better spray inside. Although the Fruils are small I'd rather use those than the rubber ones.
Back on track at last.
Thanks for the messages , nice to know I'm not alone.
