Not to correct section for the roof, but just a mock up.
The front and sides have been sealed in black tinted PVA prior to the painting process.

Thanks for looking in. Comments welcome and suggestions.

            John.

              John,
Just had a good catch up apologies for not keeping up with this. The wagon and figures look great. The buildings though look the absolute nuts mate.

Beautiful work Dzohn, but what keeps the doors from falling off is a mystery to me. Artistic license?

Thanks Paul, I found some photos of sliding doors on Pinterest.Copied it pretty much as it was. But think there is a upstand on that top section holding the door roller in place .

Yesterday evening I managed to bruise my left lower ribs, right in the spot where years ago a suffered a similar injury . Now wearing a back brace to reduce the pain, turning over in bed last night was a no no , so spent the night on my back trying no to move.
This morning I was slightly more mobile and managed to start on the brick work.

Paul E was thinking about how the doors were held on the bar. Another look at the photo of some door has me wondering as well .

Taken from a real photo , very strange.

How ever I glued some thin strip to the upper section holding the doors on.

After that was done with the pva glue now fully dry I started to apply the brick colour. Goning to leave this over night , to see how much darker it will dry. Then do more coats including some paler colours.

Not bothered by any over painting, as further coats will be applied to the plastic strip and doors.

                            Thanks for looking in.

                            John.
