Apologies for not replying earlier guys, last minute preparations and finishing got in the way.
Ha ha 35 is enough for me John, glad you like mine unfortunately will not trade.
Thank you Stefan, in the last two days I was amongst the best and felt humbled.
Thank you Scottie.
Thanks. It's a surprised to me too Greg but I guess many builds didn't have unit markings on their figures.
We wore bibs at the show to collect dripping saliva at the show when viewing the figure section, Andy.
Jim, sometimes it's easier to build from a simple idea without too much thinking.
I'm glad it did Lee.
Thank you Neil, there were more superlatives in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Siamese, Vietnamese and even Lebanese.
Thank you Doug, the bread was fun to make and paint...I wouldn't rip it as it was a former teller mine.
Clean jungle air must have cleared my head to visualise the dio, Allen. It was only a matter of gathering the items needed. The hardest was locating the radio set from my stash. Thanks.
Arnold, as I replied to Neil there were more in different languages at the show. I found that awesome, most appreciated were from the judges and humbly accepted.
Thank you Garry.
Thank you so much Paul, acrylics have been a game changer for me in painting figures.
Yes and thanks John, the pigeons were the icing on the cake and basically completes the story.
Thank you Tony , yes I am pleased and I did achieve my goal.
Stay posted as there will be good news
Cheers,

I got a gold for my effort with Bombs Away. The Belvedere got a bronze.
I had to go up on stage a few times for the accompanying awards for favourite by Korean and Taiwan build groups.
Group shot with judges...
Together with club members who won...
Will post the jaw dropping displays after this.
Cheers,

Congrats, Richard, an absolutely deserved prize. It's relieving knowing that somewhere in the world there are places where beauty and skills are truly appreciated. :thumb2: :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:Comment
