            It was painted. It's the easiest camo I've ever done (though it helped having good reference material.) Thanks for the positive feedback.

                  Thanks again but honestly it took only a fraction of the time it takes to do German camo. I'm not into Vietnam stuff but would probably do more just because the painting was remarkably hassle free.
