An interesting face too - it looks like a complete look of distain on it.
        Keep up the good work!

        Morning Peter

Just get an ice cold Russian Nikita sniper on your painting bench and you can't get in the room for the crowd!!!!

Blue trousers will be a smooth counterpoint colour wise

And distain is all over her face, well painted too Peter,

That is one serious cape and will be quite a weight in resin

Have a fun day with all the drapery, it will keep you well busy and zenith too.

        Regards
        Steve H

          Neil - :thumb2:.

          Tim - Many thanks.

Steve - People do seem to love Soviet sniperesses. I've decided to paint the main part of the figure next, then the inside of the cape, which I will then fix in place before painting the back. Hard to work out the best sequence, but as you say, weight is a consideration.

This is outstanding Peter. Great to see a face sculpted without the bizarre eyebrow furrow that seems to be popular.

Jack - Thanks. Yes the sculptor has resisted the urge to put in too many furrows and the result is a convincingly young and realistic face.

                  Hi Peter
You have excelled yourself. Faces are hard, female faces are very hard and pretty female faces are incredibly hard. Could not be bettered.

                    Lee - Steady there!

Jim - Many thanks, but to be honest, the brilliant sculpt did most of the work.

Agreed Ralph, great work Peter. Just remember that Simon is in modellers heaven now, complete with an endless supply of poorly detailed and dimensionally inaccurate kits that he can wave his magic wand over.....
