The latest update:
Today I painted and added the hat, spare pistols and cutlass. The pistols were pretty roughly cast so I painted the wooden stocks quite dark in order to push them back a bit. Just the hands to do now.Comment

I remember you once saying white was hard to paint ? Well this has come out looking superb, esp like the brass work painting.

Danny - Thanks. The larger scales are much easier to paint than 1/35, which I struggle with.

Thanks Jim - Nice to get away from field grey.
He's done:
Just the hands holding the guns to do today. Again the quality of the finish on these parts wasn't great and I did have to scratch and replace some of the fiddly bits.
A couple of arty shots:
