A big thanks to everyone that has very kindly donated, I've just pre-paid for 6 months hosting so this is a good start to the next bill

          Thank you

I don't want you to think I'm not supportive. I don't have a Paypal account though ( and very much don't want one) so I'll get in touch when I get home and chip in.

Thanks for all your support and dedication John, although the forum is its members it wouldn't happen without you at the helm.

Thanks Richard, I don't expect anyone to donate this is a free forum and it always will be, but it is all appreciated, this week I've had to bite the bullet and pay for our own server so I've paid 6 months pre-pay so anything received will be saved for the next payment in September

Regarding Pay-pal I have to say that never had any real problems with the system myself, and it has enabled me to pay quickly for many hundreds of small items in the past, some dont like the 4 per cent charge slapped on low priced sales but that is the same as other financial bodies, generally if I make a few pounds then I spend the Pay-pal money on goodies so it is no good to hackers,a friend has had her account frozen with £100 in it,the reason she has reached a limit that requires her to re-activate her account, something to do with money laundering regulations ? the internet is riddled with people who have had problems with it,but as yet its usefullness has certainly help me buy things that would have required other ways to pay, there are a few million people who use it,and by the way despite what they say to the contrary,it is in fact an E-bay company, they bought it out last September.

I don't mind telling you, including Paypal fee's £47.67, I've just renewed one of the domains which cost £12.81 for 2 years, but the next hosting bill isn't due until September'ish

just wondering john....i was looking at the servers hosts website and wondering which package you have?

cuz the most space they have is 500mb and that cant be nearly enough with the amount of info/pics on this website?

or do i not know what im talking about?

We have 20GB of space and 500GB of bandwidth a month but I can increase that if needed, and the host is me, I thought it was a good way to fund the forums hosting bills
