Crislea Superace and Pulse Jet "Aurora"

Hi Barry n' guys. not long ago I uploaded pics of a plane which Barry Id'd. He suggested that it would make a good scale model. Well somebody had already started this as a project.

I followed the Website www.tsxonline.co.uk given in Steve Rickett's article in RCM@E and found he has got a Crislea Superace well started.

The main theme of his article in mag is about his twin pulse jet "Aurora" which he test flew last autumn at Machrihanish. Now that was quite something. Some of us thought that was worth the weekend on it's own. The sound was quite awsome.

He will have it at the Machrihanish Fun fly again, on 13/14 May, and that promises to be a well attended event. This fun fly is on a controlled entry airfield so pre-registration is essential. If you are tempted, also check out the SAA website for contact details, Bryan Passey or Steve Rickett.

Got an update. One of the two Chrislea Superace light aircraft is actually owned by Steve's Dad, and it is his Dad who is building the model

Thanks for the update Bob,not sure if you have seen my own little electric Chrislea Super Ace,here she is anyway just prior to covering, needless to say I really enjoy flying her from a tiny cabbage patch field, her shape is very distinctive in the air, keep up the good work there.
