    1:72 Antenna wire

Hi there. I'm new to this forum but rediscovered modelling after 20 odd years! I've made several models in the last few months but keep meaning to buy something to use for the antenna wiring. I'm sticking to 1:72 at the moment but hope to move up in scale as the skills start to come back (hopefully!)

What would you recommend? I've looked at fishing wire that's 0.07mm but not sure if this will be ok. I've tried stretching sprue but I've not got the knack for it!! Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum, good to have you with us. I build on a much larger scale, a bit of an oddball to the norm. lol. In the past when i did build a small model... more years ago than i can remeber, i tied a peice of black cotton between two pins so that it was taught, making it longer on lengh than i required and brushed it with diluted PVA and left to dry. Once dry it was very stiff, i glued it in place and cut off the excess.

    Hope this helps
