Congratulations Laurie, 10 points to you, it is Plymouth Sound with Drakes Island ...I was with the ho o_O???...don't tell the missus...I was on the Hoe :P
Plymouths not far from me but I try to stay out of the place seeing as they hate the car and purposely give duff road signs so you end up in a bus lane and you get fined
Plymouth is ace Alan, drove around fine and to top it off Antics is on Royal Parade, great shop! Lee
The town is awful to drive in , I don't mind driving around it but the city centre is horrible I know buses don't care in most cities but these just think other vehicles are there to crash into like its one big touring car championship lol, last time I was up there a bus was in the wrong lane although I didn't know that as it's indicators must have been broken I pulled up along side it at the roundabout and when clear to move I followed my line out only to be beeped by the bus because it tried to cut me up, also the road markings don't match the signs on the way out.
Like Plymouth. First visited in 1962 after the city had been rebuilt. Great City. Bit worn now in places but the regeneration is going fine.
The Hoe and the Barbican are great places especially with the weather as it is. Great second hand book shop there so many books. Over 12 stone and you have to breath in.
Also another Model Shop, Lee, over the road and up the cut into Plymouth from the Toys Are Us shop.
Also they have a place called "Mutley" and it seems every where you drive this Mutley is sign posted.
See what you have done John ! Way down on the list we are in Mutley and Plymouth.
Agree Alan getting out of Plymouth the Sainsbury way is a disaster area.
