Dave W's 'What I used to do'

I spent 7 years working for British Aerospace as a Crew Chief on a Saudi Tornado Squadron (no.29) at King Abdul Aziz airbase,Dhahran. These days I work on much bigger aeroplanes that carry people instead of missiles. Before Saudi I was a Phantom Phitter in the RAF.Not sure this qualifies as a 'What I used to do' as I've worked on aircraft of one sort or another since I left school.

Well strictly speaking if you did it yesterday its what you used to do so now we have a sailor a pilot a novelist a compiler a test scientist a water expert, still no Nobel Peace prize winner. Come on I know you're out there.

It was an experience, but I wouldn't go out there again.Too bloody hot most of the year as well.Saudi labour laws say no one can work if the temperature is 50 degrees C.its amazing how many days it officially reach a max of 49C!
