Hope all goes well Scott what ever is said about the NHS few places in the world look after their people as this country does.

Not nice or easy when your wife is away as I found out looking after 4 kids. But children do, especially in times like these and what ever the age, support their parents when one is away as I have found.

So now Scott how are your cooking, washing ironing and child care faculties ?

Hope all returns to normal in a short time.

          Laurie

Unfortunately the older we get the more likely these things are to happen. Just over a year ago I flew from Manchester to Florida to start a three month period on the ship. A week later I was back home and by my wife's bedside in Lincoln hospital! She had a ruptured appendix which had been going on for so long had become gangarenous. She is fine now and everything back to normal.

I'm sure things will settle down once they have identified the cause and know how to deal with it and she will soon be back with you and things will get back to normal.

Think there is a problem with the thread.

Thank goodness for that, I thought you had started repeating yourself, repeating your self, repeating yourself!

They might have to keep her in for the next few days and I have to admit for the first time in a while iam very worried, sorry folks just needed to get that off my chest so thanks for listening.scott
No need to apologise as this must be a very worrying time for you both.

Having experienced similar while living in Cyprus we can sympathise.

Hopefully all will turn out well, and the people on here are all friends, and I'm sure will be here to support you anyway they can.

Scott, I've just signed in and read your news....

I'm sure everything will be fine, they'll sort her out.....In the mean time, give my love to Carrie and give that little hero Mai Grace a big hug from me and the wife....

And you take care my friend.

                          Ron

Thank you everyone for your thoughts, the good news is that she has been discharged this evening with explicit orders to rest. Both me and especially Mia are relieved to have here home, again thank you to everyone for your support.

That's great news Scott......Getting her to rest - explicit instructions or not - is a different matter!

                              Regards to you all.
