Sorry alan have to disagree with you there I have a HTC 1 and I think it's the best phone out there, well apart from the fixed memory that is, and it habit of restarting itself, oh and the short bat life but other than that. It's the dogs dangly bits, always had HTC and love them.Comment

I'd go with the Experia Z2, though if you had a bad experience with an Experia range before you may not like another one. I use an iPhone but don't rate it at all, I only choose it as I have tried Andriod and Windows before so thought I would give it a go, too small a screen and constant updates are a pain. Samsung are half decent but loads of each version get sent back every week due to " software" issues ( I'll PM you how I know ). HTC's are nice the 90% aluminium body makes them durable, but the camera lets them down. Stay away from Nokias unless your a Windows fan, they are simple and easy to use but not to everyone's taste.

My advice would be to go play with a few in your local shop, but don't just ask them what they think is best as they often get paid extra in commission for sales of certain handsets.

 Just my two pence worth
