There is for and against the external adhesive method,a lot of the earlier covering materials used somewhat heavy heat activated adhesive,one method is to use copydex thinly spread with an artists sponge to just tack to the edges,thankfully it activates just enough with heat applied with the iron,there are obviously a lot of new ultra lightweight covering materials out there that need experimentation,great stuff these films I need never ever go back to Microfilm,it did stain the bath and mum was not an happy bunny either !
