Anything really depending on my mood, but mostly all kinds of rock music and a touch of heavy metal. If I'm tired or lethargic and can't leave the chair to go and spray or do something constructive I'll tune to talk back radio, that alone is enough to drive anyone out of their room.
Mine is a very broad church when it comes to music and I love everything from the Sex Pistols to Stephane Grapelli, Arctic Monkeys to AC DC, Red Hot Chilli Peppers to the Kinks, Cream to Creedance Clearwater Revival and pretty much anything in-between (including Classical). Like Richard I'm another Radio 2 listener, (again like Richard) apart from Jeremy Vine who's show makes my blood boil.
My favourite thing though whilst building models is listening to Test Match Special. For me there's nothing quite like having a few hours building or painting whilst listening to Aggers wind Geoffrey Boycott up, hearing about the first class cricket and the beautiful cakes of course. Summer, TMS, cup of Tea and modelling - that's pretty much perfect.
I cant really concentrate with music going on as im cursing at a piece of pe I also am afraid of missing something going on in the rest of the house lol
One thing is out and that is comedy as once started I can not stop giggling. Bob Newhart etc. Then when I do stop the funny side restarts the giggling.
Not good for accurate work. Neither is emotional stuff.
