    Been busy lately

Well, i have five minutes to myself. First of all, a few weeks back i had no interweb so got on the phone to find out what was going on with my service provider. They gave my no information as they didn't know what was happening, days later we had a letter saying "necessary repairs to phone exchange to bring you better internet speeds". Okay, so that sorts that out but why they couldn't say on the phone beats me. I do have a smart phone that will go on to the web but it needs a smart person to use it lol.

As you can see, I HAVE THE INTERWEB BACK woop!! I can now post up some projects i've been working on. Oh, hang on, i can't. Because i haven't had the time to build anything...............

    And this is why.

At first we called her Rogue but she didn't like it (and to be honest it sounded like we was shouting at her). She a Staffie cross and the best thing to happen in a while, and shes helping me no end. She is now answering to the name to "Poppy", and she loves it. Running after the dog i've had no time for modeling but thought i'd pop on to let you know i'm ok and will get something started soon.

    As always, have fun, John

Glad you are back where you want to be John.

Hope you have something to show soon.

Dogs are great friends. We have had Mandy, Busy Bee, Piper, Silvy and Magic. Never forgotten, lots of fun and all very loyal creatures. A joy to have.

In a flat and as dogs lived 15 years it would be unfair at 76 to have another as they do suffer very much when the. Master or mistress disappear.

Thanks guys, nice to be back online too. I'd like to know what we did before all this technology thingy, funny thing though, i had to get a new laptop before the intherweb went down (just my luck lol). Yes Poppy is keep me & Wendy busy but we're loving every minute of it. And she is making me forget "my little vacation". I have started a few builds but only in preparation for a bigger project, namely the Federation Runabout i got last month. I've even built a base it 1/48 scale but have nothing to put on it lol.

Looks like Poppy has got down for an hour so back to the bench of me (oh and a nice canned drink me thinks).

          Have fun, John

I know what you mean matey, in fact with the net being down and the sun out i got in the garage and did something on the Capri. Hoping to have it on the road next year for some modeling shows.

              Have fun, John & Poppy

Is that the Ford Capri John ?

My eldest son Mark had a light green Capri. Very nice car. By the time he had finished he had a multitude of aerials. He kept up grading speakers but declined to remove the old ones. In the end the inside was just speakers.

Plus he is just as dopy as ever at 49.

Yes Laurie, 1982 Calypso 1.6. I was going to fit a bigger engine and have a new respray but but i've found out there is only 51 Calypso's left, so keeping as it is. The only thing i will be doing is fitting a five speed gearbox for better motorways driving.

This is my baby in Clumber park a few years ago.

                      Have fun, John

I used to own a Opal Manta GTE many years ago. Superb car, just fell to bits.
