Your modelling insecurity.... provokes some stupidity?

    Yep!

Have you ever "doubt" of your work...?

    Your insecurity provokes some stupidity?

I'm sure, inclusive the best and more experienced modellers here, have a bad day... O_o

Repaint a model...? The trash..? A promise like "Gone with the wind" with a model in your hand...-I promise that I will never...-

    My last stupidity has been....

I'm not sure to have painted a correct winter scheme on my Stuka, so I decided to save the model with "something", just for show a better model.

This "something" has been paint all the rivets with a pin wash ONE BY ONE!!!

I'm have worked on it three days and is not finished yet

Wow Polux you're a dedicated builder to hand do all those rivets! Its details such as this that can put a build up a notch however,so to me its well worth the effort on some builds. I've done more stupid things building than I care to admit, some even knowing in the back of my mind I should'nt try ! Sometimes its these stupid things we do that can result in happy mistakes or discovering a new technique. So it really is'nt stupid after all ! We are too often our own worst critics ,even the most skilled person will have on off day ,best to enjoy the hobby and try to learn from our mistakes so we can share it here so others do'nt make the same ones. just my .02 cheers Trey

I'll always stick by the philosophy of, 'improvise, adapt and overcome!' I'm mean it worked when I was in RN, now through my years, it's stick with me.

I always doubt my work so that's the norm for me, it's never up to any kind of standard so that's no excuse for my stupidity. I guess it's my gift I was born stupid (ask my teacbers).

I agree with the others Polux , let's face it to you it will look no good to the rest of us it will look brilliant

The only builds I don't have problems with are armour I struggle on everything else especially aircraft and always do something stupid
