    The one that got away?

As I see builds on here it makes me think about kits I had that I gave away and now wish I had kept, such as the Fibre optic Enterprise and fibre optic DS9 of all kits !

So was there a kit you either saw and didn't get and now regret it or were you generous to a fault and gave one away you now wish you had kept?

Going back about fifteen years they brought out a range of Star Trek kits that came with fibre optics and I always wanted the USS Defiant and the NX 01 USS Enterprise but I wasn't into the hobby back then so I let them slip by now I wish I hadn't , I've looked on evil bay for them but I've never come across them.

This is not really one that got away but one that has taken me some years to get hold of, and thats the Runabout i've started to build. But one that i regret is the old Matchbox 1/32 BF 109, build it as a kid but messed it up. If i ever set my eye on one then i'm having it.

      Have fun, John

You want to have a look to see if you can get a revell one there's a good chance it's the old matchbox kit as they bought the mouldings when matchbox went bump

The Revell 1/32 109's are new tooled kits.

The Puma that Matchbox did however has been released by Revell and If I am not wrong can still be found.

I gave away the 1/6 Tamiya 1100 Yamaha midnight special which I build and added working lights and indicators to an ex who was also a biker we split and I saw it in the rubbish bin in about a million bits. Boy do I regret that.
