Lets face it Apple will always be up there in technology, innovation and marketing and remember Microsoft also have to put their os in a third party computer which invariably involves a tower lots of leads oh and then a monitor.

I see, Apple never fails at anything,,,,

Antennagate 2010, there excuse, its the way the consumer holds their phone.

Apple III and IIc, epic fails with overheating circuit boards and chips popping out of the boards. The IIc was supposed to be a carry round model but at 3.5kg , really??

Lisa, a mere $10,000 on release in 1984, was cut to half that price in 1986 with failing sales

Lets not forget the hockey puck mouse, form over function, lol

Ahh Newton, let us delve into your history, unreliable hand writing recognition, its claim to fame been mocked on the Simpsons

Copeland, completely failed to meet any deadlines

      eWorld? maybe not,

Pippin, Apples foray into mainstream gaming,,, $600 a pop, fail!

Powerbooks,, talk about worn cables and cracked screens due to hinge problems.

At the end of the day we can all sit here trading pro's and cons to each cause, me, I'm bored now and will go do what I do whilst you do what you do

Well to think this all started with a bug threat to Apple. I wonder who started slagging off Apple first hey Ade and the need to protect Microsoft. There's always going to be room for Apple and Microsoft, in the end you make your choices. Hopefully Windows 10 will sort things out despite the backwards step to that start button.

Personally, speaking as a bit of a dunce with technology, I think it's amazing that we have the ability to do so many things in a small device, irrespective of who makes it.

I remember years ago, how people laughed when I said that before long we'd all have little screen devices like in The Next Generation ....

Good for you if you like it. Apple suits millions of people so we use it. The thing with haters is they're so shouty about how terrible Apple products are and how ridiculously uninformed the millions of people who purchase them are, it all starts to come across a bit undignified.
Lot of folks would use exactly this message if you replaced all instances of the word "Apple" with the word "Windows"!

That's a myth, I've had Mac's for years and have never had a virus, that's not because you can't infect a Mac, it's because there aren't many virus around because most are wrote to affect Windows machines.

I have a PC at work and it's a lot more unstable than any of my Macs

I don't think we're ever gonna reach an agreement on this fellas!

At least we can all agree that the finest way to spend our leisure time is glueing and painting bits of plastic. A most honorable pursuit me thinks!

Not at all! An interesting exchange of views, repeated the World over for years!

I like Apple computers because I think they are more elegant to use and have some some really useful features. For example, finding a file to store a document is usually one click away, changing the attributes of a file also. However, Apple get me fuming because they will not accept that their machines have bugs. (They are undoubtedly arrogant.) An example is the ongoing "feature" that since a year ago prevents Firewire external hard drives (the most popular) from sleeping. Not a peep from Apple, not a mention, no fix will ever be offered, despite several very active topics on their Discussions Forum asking for help from many users. And the wireless mouse going AWOL problem.... Don't start me on that. But I will, reluctantly, stick with them. (I had a Windows machine at work).
