    new magazine publication

Hi folks, this is one for all you armour modellers out there, I have just been into Smiths and have bought a new magazine that has just been released, it is called camouflage and markings. It deals with camouflage, and the first volume is " armour in theatre eastern front spring summer 1943". There is lots of very clear original photos of both Russian and german armour as well as very good colour illustrations of the different types of camouflage used by both sides in different sectors. There is a lot of very good historical and tactical info and maps, the down side is it cost 10.00 but it is worth the cash.

I guess it depends on whether it's a one off publication or a quarterly publication etc.

As a one off it isn't so bad, compared to some monthly mags, £4.99, £5.99 etc

There are only going to be three publications as far as I know, volume 2 is released at scale model world Telford in November, andthe third will beat the southern expo mMarch 2015.
