    Automatic Refreshing of a page

Until recently, after reading the message in a thread and I return to its parent page, the one that lists the topics, that parent page is automatically refreshed. Not now. I found this useful because it showed me an up-to-dat (parent) page and reminded me what topics I have not yet read. This is a feature of several other sites (possibly all) that I visit. Could this be reinstated please?

Are you using the back button, or the link to return.

I'm afraid that some of the features of the old forum are not available on the new one due to it being a whole new platform and not just an update.

There are some things that can be 'worked around' but unfortunately not all things.

I can't see how it has changed. If you use the back button it will show the page you were on in the state it was before you read the thread. If you use the button at the top menu it will show the thread you looked at as read. Same as it was from what I can see.

When ever I post or look at a thread I always go up and press the forum button instead of just going back, this takes me to the main page and shows any new posts/threads.

I am fairly sure that I was using the back button in the past and the page automatically refreshed. However, as you say, pressing the link button at the top (the one on this thread labelled "Chit-chat"), it refreshes, so that is what I will do. Thanks.
