about paints

I hope you can help me.

I went out today and bought some 1/35 U.S Infantry (West European Theater) by Tamiya and some 1/35 British Infantry on Patrol also by Tamiya.

Now a lot of you may have noticed that there isnt much english on the boxes and next to nothing in the way of instructions and the pictures of these figures are in black and white!! Does anyone have colour images they could post so I can see what is wheat.

Also, now here is the biggie - can anyone convert these Tamiya colours into their Humbrol equivalent?

The reason I ask for Humbrol equivalents is because I have quite a lot of Humbrol enamels and stuff and if i have the same paint in humbrol I'd rather save the few quid if I can.

i dont have the humbrol numbers but i will tell you what the tamiya paints are, im sure you can get the humbrol numbers from these...

XF-62 - oliv drab

XF-64 - Red brown (if you look at my africa corps figures in the galery (in "other" then "rjwood_uk", this colour is the one used for the rifles.

XF-51 - Khaki Drab

XF-59 - Desert Yellow

XF-1 - Flat (Matt) Black

XF-56 - Metalic Grey (again look at my pictures, the machine gunners machine gun is done in this colour)

XF-15 - Flat (matt) flesh (again look at my pictures and their faces/legs/hands

XF-10 - Flat brown (again look at pictures, their boots are done this colour)

XF-61 - Dark Green

XF-60 - Dark Yellow

XF-57 - Buff

XF-52 - Flat Earth

XF-49 Khaki (again look at pictures, their main uniform colour is khaki)

XF-2 - Flat (matt) White

XF-10 - Flat Brown

X-49 - (we had this descusion before, tamiya dont make this anymore but basically it is a glss khaki)
