How to post a short movie

I want to show the results of a chrome finish. Being shiny, its appearance is greatly improved in a small short movie showing the highlights moving. So far, the forum site seems not to accept movies (the files are greyed out in the upload file selection box). I can offer .avi, .f4v, .flv (with VPC, (whatever that is), .mp4, .mov. All are between 1.8 MB and 3.4 MB in size.

How can I post one of these movies please?

Try inserting a media file by hosting your video at photobucket, or another similar site and using the link to create your video link.

Post it to Utube then post the link on here, that way you get us and the Utube viewers

Just had a look at the reply window. In the top banner if you click on the Media butt,has two small film strips, a small window will pop up giving directions.

Presume this works for movies.

Having been a Video camera and Editor I would suggest keeping with AVI (there are two types of AVI). But depending on the resources you may have to convert to a less hungry file type for down loading.
