    Tiger, Porsche Engine?

My friend is a huge Porsche nut, so much so he has 40+ kits up his loft to build and has built loads more, I want to get him a Tiger tank as I understand Porsche did some work on the engine, I know Henschel did the main engines after the trials but what I'm after is a resin engine he could build into a Tiger so linking it to his Porsche obsession

I've seen a Tamiya kit that does the Porsche turret but thought it would be nice to get the engine as well, is this link with the engine half way down the correct one?

    Thanks in advance

To the best of my knowledge Adrian, all Tiger engines were Maybach ones.

You could always get him the Maus, Ferdinand or prototype Tiger which were all designed by Porsche.

I don't think Porche ever did anything with the engines, as has been said they were Maybach petrol engines but they did produce the Porsche turret. I have seen resin Maybach engines but can't remember where off the top of my head. Google might produce something.
