Pull your self together Ken 57 you wait until you get to 76. Old and crumbly what are you talking about man. Wish I was 57.

But have no regrets. Last two weeks horrible cough probably a virus the Doc. says. But still ran up 4 floors about 70 steps, Counted them until I got bored. Plus I held a normal conversation with the receptionist when I arrived.

Yes I have got a few things I cannot do which I could but a bit of compensation meets the day. But I am going to enjoy life. Make models, annoy my grandsons and make them laugh, cook the dinner Saturday and Sunday. I wash and iron my own clothes unfair to place that on Pauline now I am retired. All until I physically cannot. My philosophy is mind over matter. Complain not and get on with it. It has worked perfectly so far.

Admit getting old is not ideal. But it is not going to get in my way. In fact at the moment is probably one of the best parts of my life. I used to worry now I do not. Everything used to have to be finished quick time. Now I enjoy doing it in my time and what a joy that is I have missed so much in this respect. I have more time for people. Everything I do is now an enjoyment.

As Old Father Time states "The best is yet to come".

57 now but still 15 in my head, I realised age was catching up when it longer to get off the floor playing football and found I could not jump out of bed the same in the mornings.

For me (a spring chicken at 46) it's when I've been still for ages, then go to move, I am reminded I'm 46 not 16..........................
