One 1/32 aircraft, maybe I will go for a Wingnut wings....

And I'm wishing to "jump" and start to build my own fantasy vehicles

Build lost relationships which have suffered through lack of time selfishness and disregard.

Started this year. I had not seen my Best Man for decades. What a re-union. It was worth the wait. Amazing we had both changed so much physiacally.

        So that is for me.

Model wise the Herrick Airfix set. Got the lot. Merlin finished what next the Platoon, two of them, the 2 Landrovers, the Westtland Lynx, the Jackal, the Coyote, the Warrior or just the two Quad Bikes.

That is exciting for the New Year. What order that depends on attitude. But then I may build the 1/48 Beaufighter sitting up there on the shelf making itself very prominent under my glare.

What ever I do I will enjoy, mostly, except for the frustration bits. But that is model making isn't it ?

No plans.....I just want to get there. Not being morbid, just practical.

Model making wise, I've not given it much thought really. What turns up in my nut will turn up when it's ready!

I just hope Mr. Osborne (or whoever) has to keep paying me for another year so I can buy something......

I'm still going through the kits I attempted to build when I was a kid! Bristol Blenheim and a Lancaster are next, both the new tool versions. I remember both being a right PIA when I was a kid, don't think I actually succeeded in finishing the Blenheim due to the cockpit.

Oh, and a 1/24 Spitfire due to the SIG

Oh, and I really want to do the Airfix Dornier Do17z being released tomorrow

Well I have the 1/24 sig. in for that. Twelve months.... Loads of time.

Other than that its down to pot luck and finding something for the GB calender...

I hope that I get to build a bit more the coming year than I have this year...

I posted a similar link of my own and this is what I came up with for me.....

As part of the SIG 1:24th build P51 Mustang

                        Spitfire

                        Hurricane

V-22 Osprey, this is a full on build with, working props, interior lights and cockpit lit up, along with ground crew and vehicles.

                        Iron Man Igor,

Iron Man Heart Breaker, maybe an LED version again.

Revell's 1:32 Phantom Final Test Flight

                        and finally

                        Taniya's 1:32 P51D Mustang

I nee to add in the 4 engine build, have a nice 1:48th FW200 Condor to do for this

                        Adrian

I'm planning to finish more than two in a year, which is my current rate and will take at least 6 years just to clear the stash - and the chances are that I will add to it in 6 years so best get cracking!

I have the Eduard Da Nang F4D and they just released a Mig21PF with North Vietnamese markings which is the same era and would make a nice joint piece I thought.

There again I'll be breaking my pound jar sometime in the year and buying an airbrush, compressor and box so may save them for that, so maybe the 1/72 hurri and FW190, then the M1A1 I got for my birthday.

Of course, all this could be thrown into turmoil if I get some really fabulous kit for Christmas - perhaps the wife, with seriously zero prompting, will miraculously buy me the 1/24 Typhoon - well I can hope. Not sure I would want to paint a 1/24 with a brush though.
