Did the same with a cashmere jumper, first time on......never again, more grief than if I'd murdered a puppy

      Cheers

One thing not to wear is those shiny three quarter length short thingies...they melt when you spill super glue on them

You know the bibs babies wear, the ones with the curved bottom designed to catch all the food they drop ? Well I wouldn't mind an adult sized one of those. Every little part I dropped would surly end up in there. And therefore starve the carpet monster.

The crumb catcher, brilliant - it might just work. However, I'm not normally bothered about making myself look an idiot - but that might just be the limit !

                Nice one Si.

Colin and Richard have given me an idea for modellers clothing

Overalls with a tacky surface down the front with an apron section covering the legs to stop bits dropping between the legs

I'm going to see if the dragons will give me some dosh to market it

I'll call it the S.T.D suit which stands for simple tacky drop

I wear a painters clean suit when I get time in the shed, that way if I spill stuff it doesn't really matter.

I think you're on to something here, although pet owners might have a problem with the tacky surface......................................
