    Super hero

Hi all a question for you, who was or still is your favorite super hero and why.

Are we talking specifically marvel comic book type super power superhero or someone you'd consider a hero from history?

Marvel wise, Wolverine, who wouldn't like an indestructable adamantium skeleton and retractable blades that pop out of your hands.

But then Iron Man is cool, a wearable armoured flying suit, hmmmm, yes please, i'll have one of those.

Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes (AKA Ranulph Fiennes .... or Ran to his mates )

Why ????? ....... just read what he's done on any encyclopedic web site ..... the guys incredible!!!

In the comic world i'd have the same powers as Jean Grey (Phoenix) ... some nifty mind work there.

If i had to stay same sex then, of course, it'd be Wolverine !!

For me its got be the punisher, had all the graphic novels growing up (still not all the way there and nearly 40), awesome amount of firepower and a little un-hinged.

Mine has always been the Guyver with bio booster armour and tremendously frightning weaponry.

He's more of an Anti-Hero and not at all super, but I like John Constantine.

After that, Silver Surfer was a cool dude!

Since the last 2 films, without question, the Christian Bale version of Batman.

Just because you would. Not. Mess.

                  Gotta be Sam Vimes!

Although he has no superhuman powers or gadgets (armoured suits, magic rings, etc.) and has not been taught secret skills by some mystic monks, he still manages to beat the bad guys.

If you don't know who he is, you have my sympathy! Your world is poorer than mine.

Sam Vimes is good, Personally i've always found Havelock Vetinari most interesting, a good mix of sinister and calculating. Next to him Mistress Weatherwax is simply superb.

Re Batman, easy to win that one, clearly the poor chaps so irate becuase he can never find a late night chemist, all you have to do is throw a packet of strepsils at him
