    Modular Workshop System

Hi all, just seen this advertised on Faceboook and though I would share. I quite like the idea but would need to sort out a decent work bench to put it all on

It would be a major project, working out which modules you wanted/needed and trying to fit it all together. Great fun

Fairly pricey, if I did the calculation to $ correctly and that was without shipping added in to boot.

Looks interesting. Ray, the web site has an option for displaying the prices in zloti, dollars, euros and pounds

Not too bad I thought in prices, depending on what pieces you wanted.

Yes also factor in Adrian a chair on a railway line to get from one end to the other. Electric of course.

When re-designing my work area one thing I kept in mind was that all the items I use I wanted within arms distance.

On the work bench Adrain B & Q do a kitchen top eight feet long 2feet deep for about £30.

I bought on Amazon some 3 chrome poles one each end one in the middle or in my case one section near 5feet from one end. The back supported by 2" sq timber section on the wall. Very stable and the top is a very hard formica top. I got the light hardwood effect and works fine. Easy to keep clean and wipe of paint etc.

I dont think that its that big Laurie. Looking at the sizes compared with the things on the system I think that set up shown would fit my old office desk.

I think the price is about right as well. Made from MDF the freight might be a bit of a killer though...Hmm

I could find myself buying some of that at some stage...

Just found the sizes bit. Each unit is 30cm wide, so that lot shown is 1.5m wide. Not to far from one end to t'other. Even I can manage that...

I spotted that and may well opt for it when I move for my new set-up. I worked out that it would cost around £250 for the set-up shown with free shipping for that amount.

The great thing is its modular design and the way you can pick and choose what to get and how to set it up.
