A suggestion for the Latest acquisitions thread.

Now that we have this rather good function called 'comment' how about using that to comment peoples posts in the Latest acquisitions and spots on the internet.
It could be that the RELEVANT chat can be better tolerated by the Admin/mods. But can we still at least try to keep to the subject.

What say you . I think its a good idea.

Ironically there is no comment button on your first post here, I’ve never noticed that, can more than 1 person comment on the same post?

I can't comment on the first post in any topic, only the subsequent ones. Does that work okay for you?

I can only comment on subsequent posts... Not the first. Is that right?

It would appear that the first post in a thread is persona non grata for comments. As the thread in point has gotten way past the first post.... Not a problem.
If you wish to make a comment on someones latest purchase, please just use the comment option.

So a bit of banter is OK provided it is relevant to the thread topic?

If its in the comment box And just a bit of banter and not just posted as a new post. Think we can see how it goes, If it gets abused chatter between two members then it will also be stamped on like a rabid spider.

I don't want people to think they can't post or have to think if what they are posting is allowed, let's just try posting what you want where you want and see how it goes, ideally keep using the comments button, it does keep the thread tidy.
                  Working...
