    Abe was here.

    The USS Abraham Lincoln was in town basically docked at Klang Port just a short drive away. Unfortunately for 9/11, they have ceased having civilians the opportunity to go on board only military personnel are allowed. Could have gone to see it but from a far, sadly I had no time.
    Friends have forwarded some pictures they took.

      Just tried, not possible. It was okay a while ago. Great aerial images by drone I think.

    She's leaving port today. Would be fantastic to see her sail by. Don't know which channel she would be taking for open seas...north or south.
    Funny that she's berthed at the cruise liner wharf and not at our naval base at Lumut but I guess it's for the crew to get some R & R in KL.

      A ship I was working on sailed past a US carrier that was along side. I can’t remember the name, but we seemed to take ages to pass the ship. It was huge.
