Just bought these DSPIAE Tweezers, mine from a three for a fiver Revell set were getting a bit past their best set.
Look and feel very good, points meet accurately, maybe the tips can be replaced, not sure though.
Might well get the flat and angled versions having seen and tried these ones first

Went in my closest model shop purely to buy some paint for the ark royal but these followed me out

The leopard was on sale at under 20 quid so that was a bargain but then i saw the L-159and just had to have it when i saw the schemes on the back of the box........the 2 lower ones i see for real at least twice a week....im on the flight path out to sea where their playground is..sometimes as much as 5 times a week........owned Draken who provide an 'Adversary' service to RAF and USAF in the uk .....operate out of my local airport along with a few Dassault 20 Falcon....now reregistered as G DKNA and G DKNM

That Hawker P1127 will give you lots to think about, it's quite a challenging build to get it to look and fit right

Just delivered, kit I've been coveting for years but refused to pay the exorbitant prices being asked.
Found on Ebay as a BIN delivered for just under £30.00 so I am well pleased.
Box is tatty but all contents sealed and perfect.

Nice find! The mkII Jag is a work of art on four wheels, a lasting memory of them for me is they were used by the villains in the 70's TV series 'The Sweeny'

Quite right Richard, his was maroon with a black vinyl top which I have never seen before.
I will be doing it Warwick Grey with a burgundy red interior to match my best friends 1:1 car to go alongside his E Type which I built earlier ( in scale form and in real life).

Some VERY nice hauls there chaps.

OK, some some recent arrivals over the past few weeks....some genuinely essential, some not and three sets a lot less than full price....

            -------------------------------------------

Have bought these to replace the old mini-jam jars I have been using for years for home made washes and other fluid storage. So much better.

These are for a special project I have planned....just waiting for a third set to land.

Who doesn't love a canopy mask!!

Decided to refresh the brush stash, in part so I can give some older but still good brushes away to a new modeller. The primer and strainer (for paint) were half price, thanks to a £10 gift voucher.

Have started using other colours of these and like them and had no metallic colours

A hobby store chain was doing '3 for the price of two' for a short period and so it would have been rude not to.....I have bought the Tempest again as I like the one I am working on and want to do the the other camo/marking scheme.

Got 20% off these thanks to a voucher. As above, the Tempest is so good I have bought this one for the above mentioned special project and also want to have another go at doing the Korean F-51. Also needed to pack out the order to get the discount, hence the jars.

Miko - You can pick them up in a lot of places, either singly or as a six pack. Search for "Tamiya Paint Mixing Jar (10ml) 81044" or just a Tamiya 81044

Prolly could'a used the bender when I did the chemical plant. Don't recall what I did use to bend all the pipe.

The jar opener is a real “must have” if you use Tamiya or any other paint in little jars 😉

Ok chaps, so acquisitions from today's show at the De Havilland Museum. Pics from the show to follow in due course.

As you can see, absolutely vital acquisitions.......

                    -------------------------------

Got the book as I'm doing the Tempest. I like this series - at least the ones I have - enough for a good solid taster without going overboard. And I noticed on Friday that I was running out of flow improver

A bit of a departure for me but I like Modelcollect, it is something a bit different and it was only £10...not many online but £15 looks about the normal price.

Been thinking about getting one of these for the past week or so and have even been stalking one online in an eBay auction this week. These are normally in low-£20s new but picked this up for £15, which is only a fraction off the lowest eBay auction price.
