    My week end culinary antics

    Saturday night


    Vegetable and King prawn curry. Potatoes peppers peas and sweetcorn. Al cooked in a coconut cream.


    Served with Plain Nan and lime quarters. i thought it OK hope you know who did as well. She made comment that she liked prawn curries so that must be something of a good oman. Prawns were just under done. i enjoyed it.


    Sunday.


    Fajitas. Beef strips in just salt and pepper. Salsa plum avocado spring onion tomato with a lime juice and chillie flakes. Kept testing normally go over with the chillie but is seems OK . salt and paper to taste


    Slalad bits left over in the fridge filling with the beef lettuce tomato advocado lettuce spring onion celery cucumber. Fridge now empty. Fajitas and Kettle crisps.

    A three-course meal for me Laurie is either bread, butter and jam or cereal, milk and sugar! For anything more adventurous I go to a restaurant or cafe.

      Unfortunately still in the rat race my meals normally cook for 4 mins and then go ping............ Mmmmmmmmm.can't wait to retire and have time like yourself to cook some great meals one of my favourites being Moroccan Lamb but have to visit a restaurant for this if and when I get the time.Today I'm modelling in my loft the other half is doing a Sunday roast(pork) followed by Apple crumble n custard so we are civilised at times but not as often as one would choose

        I'm on an Indian kick at the mo my landlady is Kenyan Indian and has been giving me some cooking lessons using Asian spices, not mastered it yet but getting there.
