    Thanks guys.
Neil, there was a photo of a quarry with Utah Beach in the background w/rock crushing plants & shovel doing similar work as my dio. I can't find it, been looking the last hour, but will keep at it. The plant consisted of a rough crusher for rip/rap sized output (4 to 6") that fed a gravel sized output crusher. I just scratched the rip/rap plant & kitbashed a mobile shovel.

Gravel crusher in foreground & RR crusher feeding it, barely seen.

Not just yours' Paul. Fine Scale Modeling magazine used it in some ads. I'm currently redoing it featuring elements of a Dump Truck Company & some jack hammer operators.

Another old one. IDF HQ elements on the move. One of the few small enough to photo outdoors.

If it wasn't for the background cut off it could have fooled me for being a real image. Nice one Paul.

            Cheers,

                  'Tiger recovery in the Tyrol'.
Sturmtiger went over the side in the fog & couldn't recover itself, burning up the clutch. 2nd Famo prepping for twin pull to shop. Bergepanther providing fulcrum & security.

Love that, Paul, the engineers worked equally hard.

I've just seen a FAMO in the flesh in a Museum in Normandy- my god it's a BEAST!

My son and my grandson- he's 6'8" !! (my son is his uncle, not his dad, who is almost as tall,-but not quite)

I can recommend the Overlord Museum- probably the best of all of the Normandy Museums
                    sorry for the hijack, Paul

The Overloon Museum in the Netherlands is also awesome.

'Tigers on the Prowl' with AAA support. Prelude to 'Target Forward' I think.
